Job Responsibilities
- HVAC System Maintenance & Repair – Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential homes
• Diagnostics & Troubleshooting – Inspect and diagnose HVAC issues, including heating/cooling malfunctions, air quality problems, and system inefficiencies
• Preventative Maintenance – Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning systems, and testing equipment to ensure optimal HVAC system performance
• Customer Interaction – Engage with customers to inform them of issues, recommend solutions, and explain the status of their HVAC systems
• System Efficiency Recommendations – Recommend products and services to optimize HVAC system performance and increase energy efficiency
• Technical Documentation – Use Service Titan software to track repairs, service calls, and installations, ensuring accurate records and customer service documentation
• Code Compliance – Ensure all work complies with national and local building codes and regulations
• Safety Protocols – Follow all safety protocols to ensure that HVAC systems function properly and safely according to industry standards
• Customer Service Excellence – Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude and professional approach
Qualifications
- Experience – 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role
• Certifications – HVAC certification or equivalent experience from a trade or technical school is preferred
• Technical Expertise – Proficient in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, cooling, and air quality equipment
• Service Software – Experience with Service Titan or similar software is a plus
• Communication Skills – Strong communication skills to clearly explain HVAC issues and solutions to customers
• Attention to Detail – Ability to perform work that meets all codes and regulations while maintaining precision and accuracy
• Customer-Focused – A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service with a positive, helpful attitude
• Driver’s License – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
