Field Leadership – Guide, mentor, and support HVAC technicians in the field to ensure high-quality workmanship, productivity, and exceptional customer service.
Job Oversight – Manage residential HVAC service and installation jobs to ensure timely, efficient, and code-compliant completion.
Technical Assistance – Provide on-site support and troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues to help technicians succeed in the field.
Training & Onboarding – Assist in onboarding new technicians and delivering hands-on training and mentorship to develop skill sets and adherence to Chapman Bros. procedures.
Quality Control – Perform site audits, review completed work, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
Customer Relations – Serve as a point of contact for escalated customer issues and represent Chapman Bros. with professionalism and integrity.
Operational Coordination – Collaborate with the dispatch, service management, and warehouse teams to align schedules and resources for maximum efficiency.
Reporting – Maintain accurate records of job progress, technician performance, and service documentation using ServiceTitan or a comparable platform.
Safety Oversight – Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety policies to maintain a safe, productive work environment.
Experience – 5+ years in residential HVAC service, including at least 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
Technical Skills – Proficient in HVAC diagnostics, installations, repairs, and field operations.
Certifications – EPA Type II or Universal required; NATE certification preferred.
Leadership Strength – Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate technicians in a dynamic field environment.
Customer-Focused – Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Physical Capabilities – Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform duties in various weather conditions.
Driver’s License – Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required for company vehicle usage.
