Job Responsibilities
- HVAC System Installation – Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems
• System Setup & Start-Up – Ensure proper installation and start-up of HVAC systems, including testing equipment to ensure it is functioning optimally
• Customer Interaction – Communicate with homeowners to explain installation processes, answer questions, and ensure they are satisfied with the work
• Technical Documentation – Use Service Titan software to document work performed, track parts, and update job status to ensure accurate customer records
• Compliance & Safety – Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and national building codes and regulations; follow safety protocols for all tasks
• Product Recommendations – Recommend HVAC products and services that optimize performance, efficiency, and comfort for the homeowner
• Collaborate with Team Members – Work closely with other technicians and installers to ensure efficient project completion
• Troubleshooting – Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HVAC systems during and after installation
Qualifications
- Experience – 3+ years of HVAC installation experience, with a strong understanding of system installations and equipment
• Licensing – Valid HVAC or related license in the state of New Jersey is preferred
• EPA Certification – EPA Type II or Universal Certification required
• Service Software – Experience with Service Titan or similar software is a plus
• Communication Skills – Strong ability to explain HVAC installations and product recommendations clearly to homeowners
• Technical Expertise – Skilled in installing HVAC systems and components, including electrical wiring and refrigerant lines
• Attention to Detail – Ability to work with precision, ensuring all systems meet industry standards and customer specifications
• Customer-Focused – A commitment to delivering high-quality customer service with a professional attitude
• Driver’s License – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
